Renad Al Majed Information Technology (RMG) has concluded its three-day training course in IT Governance Framework (COBIT 2019) which was held in Riyadh Municipality. The importance of this course comes from the fact that COBIT provides a comprehensive framework that helps organizations achieve their objectives in the areas of corporate IT governance and management. It simply helps organizations to make the most of IT by maintaining a balance between achieving benefits, reducing risk levels, and optimizing the use of resources.

The new version of COBIT 2019 offers many additional features that Rob Clyde, Chairman of ISACA, who is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), says: “COBIT 2019 provides global guidance that leverages value from information and technology assets by using better management and improving governance. This type of guidance stimulates new growth and innovation, while also immunizing organizations against threats and risks around the world.”

Dirk Steuperaert, COBIT’s lead developer for 2019, said that the new release would “provide companies with the flexibility to design practical governance solutions for business objectives set by the organizations and their specific context. Companies adopting the new version will benefit from optimal use of resources, increased efficiency and better management of information and technology.”

The training course, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was delivered by Counselor Nasser Al-Hout. All attendees expressed satisfaction with the training material provided by the trainer and looked forward to taking advantage of the many advantages of the new version.
